The top book to read this summer is definitely the Twilight Series by Stephanie Mayer. Not only is the book good but the movie even better in my opinion. If you saw the movie and liked it, the book will amaze you. Harry Potter, Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, and Tales of the Beedle Bard are also great books that will keep you up reading at night.

My personal favorite author is Chuck Klosterman. He usually writes a lot of works on current pop-culture, but has just come out with his first novel, Downtown Owl. It is very intriguing. Another good read would be, No One Belongs Here More Than You, by Miranda July, who is also a great movie director. This book has mature content in it, I might add. My friend told me recently to read, The Giver, by Lois Lowry and that it is a must-read by all. In Cold Blood, by Truman Capote is a classic as well. It's a bit more depressing, but very interesting and hard to put down. Also, the Bible, in any interpretation can always keep you reading for a while.

Well it is now winter 2008, but there are many good books to read! Right now the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer is getting another good boost behind it due to the movie Twilight just releasing. Coming out just in time for christmas is a book tied into the Harry Potter Series, which is great for kids and adults alike, titled Tales of the Beedle Bard. How about some John Grishom! Everyone loves him and he's got The Appeal, another great new book. Republican presidential nominee Ron Paul has a book out called The Revolution: A Manifesto. Also on my list. And last but not least, I recommend any book by Jodie Picoult. Her stuff is just so dang amazing.

The first book to read is the bible, written through interpreters by god. Read that and enjoy it. Next, read at least two books by david sedaris. Try "naked' and 'me talk pretty one day'. Then you want to read 'high fidelity' and 'slam.'
