Weber-Christian is a disease that involves the inflammation of the skin. The skin can become infected and there is usually scarring. In addition to the skin problems a Weber-Christian’s generally has a fever and “just doesn’t feel well.” Weber-Christian disease can also cause other symptoms which include joint pain, vomiting, nausea, fatigue, weight loss, and fever. Weber-Christian is most commonly seen in women between the ages of 30 and 60.
