Mushroom Carbonara is a sauce which is delicious with any pasta. Prego also makes a mushroom carbonara sauce themselves. Usually the sauce contains mushrooms of course, bacon or pancetta ( an italian ham ), onion, garlic, cream, grated parmesan cheese and herbs and spices. Of course, there are many variations of the sauce out there so, they are just the basics of the sauce. However, which ever way you make it it's a delicious sauce that dances on the taste buds.
23 days agoMushroom carbonara is a variation of the standard carbonara sauce. Carbonara sauce is a cream based sauce with bacon and parmesan cheese. The mushroom variation includes sauteed mushrooms. It is great over linguini style pasta.

You saute' the mushrooms until they are tender, add a bunch of herbs and spices, and some creamy stuff and then put over pasta. It is one of the most popular sauces in Italy. You can Google it to find the perfect recipe.
34 days agoI think you mean mushroom carbonara. It's a sauce. I usually make it with a tortellini. It can be put on a lot of other things of course. Just search for a recipe with mushroom carbonara sauce and try it out.
